We’re a small, family-led maker of timber cubbies, kids furniture, and everyday pieces designed for real homes and backyards.

This all started the same way many good ideas do — building things for our own kids. We wanted furniture and play spaces that felt solid, safe, and thoughtful. Pieces that didn’t look out of place in the home, but were still made to be climbed on, played with, and loved hard.

At the heart of it all is Mark McQuade, a builder by trade with a deep appreciation for good timber, practical design, and doing things properly. Mark builds each piece with the same mindset he brings to his construction work — strong foundations, attention to detail, and no shortcuts where it matters.

Every cubby, bench, table, and wardrobe is made with function first, and character close behind. We lean into natural materials, honest finishes, and small imperfections that tell the story of something made by hand — not churned out on a production line.
